Several years ago we brewed a run of lagers that were built on the same base recipe, but featured different yeasts. It allowed us to learn the nuances between different strains, and hone our lager-making processes.
Now we're revisiting one of the inaugural pilsners from this series afresh!
Czech Pilsner has just sped off the canning line and utilizes the namesake yeast from Escarpment. We've minimized the dry-hop to allow the yeast to really shine, and the result is a crisp, pleasantly bitter, subtly spicy lager.
